The National Center for Interprofessional Practice andEducation is now accepting nominations for the 2019 George E. Thibault, MDNexus Award, intended to celebrate those who are redesigning healthcareeducation and healthcare delivery simultaneously to be better integrated andmore interprofessional while demonstrating outcomes.
In 2019, the National Center will recognize two Nexuspartnerships demonstrating:
Local, Single-System Implementation: Meaningful integrationof interprofessional education and collaborative practice in localimplementation predominantly in a single setting or local network thatleverages strong education and practice partnerships.
Broader, Multi-System Implementation: Visionarycross-organizational, systems-level partnerships with multiple organizationsand groups in partnership with people/patients, families and communities suchas statewide or regional IPE collaboratives, health system-community-educationorganization partnerships, and national organizations.
The submission deadline is Friday, June 7, 2019. Awardeeswill be notified by Friday, June 21, 2019.
