DataRobot has appointed Colleen Greene to General Manager(GM) of Healthcare. In her new role, Greene will focus on driving automatedmachine learning adoption in the healthcare industry. Drawing on her passionand experience in leveraging data and technology to improve healthcare, Greenewill be instrumental in supporting DataRobot’s goal to enable every healthcareorganization to become more AI-driven.
DataRobot enables healthcare organizations – such as payers,providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers – to transform the billions of datapoints collected in electronic health records, clinical trials, and billingsand claims processing into predictions that drive down costs, improveoperations, and ultimately, save lives. The company’s automated machinelearning platform has helped healthcare professionals drive critical operationefficiencies through benefits such as reducing readmissions, making accuratepredictions about ICU utilization, determining which patients are less likelyto adhere to prescribed drug regimens, and identifying potentially fraudulentpayment activity. DataRobot currently works with a number of healthcarecustomers, including Blue Health Intelligence, Steward Health Care System LLC,and Symphony Healthcare LLC.
Prior to joining DataRobot, Greene served as chief technologyofficer and senior vice president for Strategic Business Operations atAbsoluteCARE Inc., a multi-state, patient-centered ambulatory intensive carepractice. Before that, she was the director of Population Health and EmergingTechnologies at Anthem, where she led multiple enterprise-level initiatives,including the development of new products, programs and contracts to reducehealthcare costs, improve value-based metrics and enhance the patientexperience. While at Anthem, Greene also created and managed new value-basedcontracts, led a corporate-wide clinical data aggregation and interoperabilityproject, drove a digital transformation effort, and helped build the company’sfirst data lake.
Greene started her career working on actuarial analytics andmedical economics, clinical analytics, predictive modeling, cost savingsanalysis, program evaluation, and HEDIS and quality analytics at Johns Hopkins.She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of MarylandUniversity College and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration fromWestern Kentucky University.
