Osso VR announced the launch of a virtual reality (VR)training module for Wright Medical’s INFINITY Total Ankle Replacement System.The module is being demonstrated at the American Orthopaedic Foot & AnkleSociety (AOFAS) annual meeting from Sept. 12-15, 2019.

This training scenario allows surgeons to experience in ahands-on way the value of patient-specific ankle arthroplasty including theability to practice their fluoroscopic skills. Surgeons can train and assessthemselves on the intuitive workflow of the procedure at their own pace,allowing them to rapidly become proficient in this high-demand, emergingtechnique.

Osso VR’s scientifically validated training platform isdesigned for surgeons, sales teams and other trainees to address new techniquesand increase confidence through learning for new medical devices.
