Every year the Patient Safety Movement Foundation (PSMF)identifies the most influential advocates in patient safety and honors themwith the Humanitarian Award at the annual World Patient Safety, Science &Technology Summit. This award recognizes leaders who have made significantprogress in eliminating preventable patient deaths so that the PSMF can reach itsshared goal of ZERO preventable deaths.
The awards are given in memory of two men, Beau Biden andSteven Moreau, who are no longer with us physically. Both of them had boundlesspassion for making the world a better place, no matter what obstacles theyfaced. Each of the awards will be given in their names because ZERO is not justa worthy goal but an attainable one.
All nominations must be submitted by December 15, 2019.
