Osso VR has appointed Dr. Ken Yamaguchi, MBA, a shoulder surgeon and chief medical officer (CMO) at Centene Corporation, to the company’s advisory board.

Dr. Yamaguchi completed his residency training at George Washington University. He then completed fellowship training in shoulder surgery at the Shoulder Service at the Columbian Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, followed by supplemental training in elbow surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Yamaguchi founded and remains active in one of the top shoulder and elbow fellowships in the world. In 2012, Dr. Yamaguchi received his MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. “From top to bottom, we focused on pulling together the strongest team of clinical, medical device, technology and art experts from all over the globe, and we are extremely proud of what we’ve built together at Osso VR,” said Justin Barad, MD, CEO and co-founder of Osso VR. “We are extremely humbled to add Dr. Yamaguchi to our board and look forward to using his world-class expertise to scale our platform, reach more patients and ultimately allow medicine to thrive in the new normal.”
