Varjo has introduced two new Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Buy American and Trade Agreements (BAA)-compliant mixed reality products for enterprise and governmental customers in the United States. The two new TAA-compliant variants (XR3TAARF and XR3TAANRF) of the Varjo XR-3 mixed reality device will be manufactured exclusively in Finland. Both offerings are available in the United States via General Service Agreement (GSA) Contract #47QSMA20D08QG, held by authorized Varjo partner ITI Systems of Beltsville, Maryland.
As demand for immersive tools continues to rise, Varjo’s special offering delivers an advanced virtual and mixed reality technology for high-security needs. With human-eye resolution, low-latency video pass-through, a 115-degree field of view, integrated eye and Ultraleap (formerly Leap Motion) hand tracking, and sophisticated depth awareness, the Varjo XR-3 allows professionals to perform at high levels in a fully immersive environment.
Both of Varjo’s products come with an Enterprise Priority software subscription to support offline usage in environments where internet connections are not available. While the XR3TAARF maintains the same feature set as the standard Varjo XR-3, the XR3TAANRF model is shipped with the SteamVR wireless radio disabled (non-RF). With the RF radio disabled, SteamVR controllers cannot be used and the wireless connection to the base stations is removed.
