The RadyVerse team at the University of Manitoba won the SIM Innovator Award for advancing virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence in health care education. The initiative, led by Dr. Nicole Harder, expands VR use across multiple health faculties. It has been instrumental in rural health-care training and international competency assessments.

Dr. Harder also received the SIM Citizenship Award for her contributions to the simulation community. The awards were presented at Simulation Canada’s 2024 SIM Expo in Banff, Alberta.
