Bangladesh-Air-Force-K-8WTrainers

The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has taken delivery of seven new Hongdu K-8W tandem-seat jet trainers. The aircraft ferried directly from China and piloted by BAF pilots, arrived at BAF Base Zahurul Haque Air Force in Chittagong on October 15. The BAF is looking at procuring an additional six K-8Ws and the type is used for intermediate jet training.

The air arm received its first K-8 jet trainers in December 2014.

Advanced jet training within the BAF is handled by the Russian built Yak-130, which entered service in 2015.
