Multi Pilot Simulations (MPS), a developer and manufacturer of fixed-base simulators, received EASA Level 1 Flight Training Device (FTD-1) certification for its 737 MAX simulator from the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) after its testing in the MPS factory in the Netherlands.

The fixed-base simulator is a replica of the Boeing 737 MAX flight deck. MPS worked in close cooperation with Boeing to achieve this milestone.

MPS develops its simulators based on the needs of airlines and flight training organizations to help optimize pilot training. Under EASA regulations, MPS' FTD-1 simulators can train all but 16 hours of type-rating credits.
