TRU Simulation + Training’s portfolio in Asia has grown through several Full Flight Simulator (FFS) deliveries and orders.

TRU has delivered and qualified an A320 STD 2.0 FFS at theAirbus India Training Center (AITC) in Gurgaon, India, in December 2018. Thedevice was qualified to Level D by India’s Directorate General of CivilAviation (DGCA). The qualification covers upset recovery training, full stalltraining and icing maneuvers.

AITC is Airbus’ first fully-owned training center in India.The FFS is the first device to the AITC, as well as the first A320 FFSdelivered to any aircraft OEM’s training center in India.

The company also delivered A320 and CRJ-900 FFSs to ChinaExpress Airlines in Chongqing, China, in December 2018. Both have beenqualified to Level D by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

In April 2019 TRU delivered an A350 FFS to Airbus Hua-OuAviation Training Company in Beijing, China. The device was qualified to LevelD by EASA and CAAC. Also delivered were an A350 Airbus Procedural Trainer (APT)and Airbus Procedural Trainer Engineering Station (APTES).

TRU signed a purchase agreement with the Flight Simulation Technique Centre in Gurgaon, India, for a new ATR 72-600 FFS, which is expected to be delivered later in 2019 and qualified to Level D by DGCA.
