Egnatia Aviation will continue to provide pilot training to its cadets that will fly with Aegean Airlines for the next three years. In addition to this renewed collaboration, Egnatia has also launched a new three-year scholarship program for pilot training.
All cadets are enrolled in the all-in-one Airline Pilot Integrated Program for intensive and up-to-date training. After successful graduation, senior instructors of Aegean perform simulator sessions, as part of the new employee selection process. Until now, the collaboration has resulted in 53 enrolled students, out of which 44 have successfully graduated and are now part of the Aegean crew.
The new cycle of the Aegean Pilot Scholarship Program has a start on 1 April 2023. The first batch will be compiled of 20 applicants, who will begin their theoretical and flight training in aircraft and flight simulators in Egnatia Aviation. Eligible to apply for the scholarships are those of Greek and Cypriot nationality.
