Looking to the Future: Adapting to Emerging Technologies

How to Get Started with Emerging Technologies

Register Today!

Join Aliesha on Day Three of WATS 2024, Thursday, May 2, 2024, for Session 1 of the Cabin Crew Training Conference, to find out why the time is right for the aviation industry to sit up and take notice of these emerging technologies.

Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR and VR) has been labelled revolutionary and disruptive for the aviation training industry. The technology increases knowledge retention, muscle memory, heightens consistency of training, increases access to training, while lowering the environmental impact and cost. But where do you even start and what are the pitfalls when implementing new technologies such as AR and VR into your training environment?

How do you manage the data, the hardware and how do you ensure trainees can easily navigate the new systems?

It can be a minefield. With the nightmare scenario being that the expensive new technologies end up sitting unused in a cupboard.

This session will help you avoid that. It will offer real world insights from an industry leader that can guide you in your workplace. Don't miss the opportunity to be ahead of the curve – join us for the session.

About Aliesha

Aliesha is highly sought after both locally and abroad as a producer of AR/VR content. She has worked on projects for esteemed clients such as the New Zealand Defence Force, Jetstar and Air New Zealand.

In addition to her work in AR/VR, Aliesha is an independent director who chairs the NZFF and sits on the board of TVNZ and the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Staples VR, her company, initially operated as a film and television company before pivoting away into training after Aliesha recognised how visual affects and 360 video could be a bigger aid in aviation, defense and health training industries.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights, actual learnings and practical skills from Aliesha.

Register now for WATS 2024
