The Air League is currently accepting applications for its 2025 powered, gliding, and electric flying scholarships until the end of March. These scholarships provide young people with opportunities to develop their aviation skills through a range of training programs.
Each year, the Air League awards over 120 scholarships and bursaries, helping to introduce the next generation to the aviation sector. With over £2 million in funding allocated in the past decade, the program continues to support individuals at various skill levels.
Available scholarships include introductory, intermediate, and advanced flying programs, as well as specialized training in gliding and electric flight. Additional scholarships for drone flying, engineering, and ground studies will open soon.
The Air League’s Electric Flying Scholarship offers five hours of flight training on the Pipistrel Velis Electro, alongside simulator time and sustainability discussions, hosted at SaxonAir in Norwich during summer 2025. Accommodation is available for those outside the area.
Interested applicants should apply before the deadline closes in the next few days.
