The European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) 2024 will debut an exciting new conference stream dedicated to Maintenance Training, a critical aspect of aviation safety. 

This stream is designed to address the evolving needs of the maintenance community, with a particular focus on training the next generation of aviation professionals as well as a critical analysis of recently employed innovations. Relevant for P145, P147 and MRO professionals and training managers.

The Maintenance Training Conference will feature pivotal sessions such as Fostering a Future of Safety: Training in Aviation Risk Management, set to take place on Day 2, Thursday, 7th November. This session will dive deep into essential topics like safety communication, psychological safety, and the impact of biases on decision-making in aviation.

Dr. Taja Hillier, an expert in Data Intelligence, AI, and business strategy, will bring her wealth of knowledge in using analytics, data science, and AI, in her presentation: Accelerating Ground School and Type Ratings with AI Coaches.

While Steve Pennington, a Senior Manager with Boeing Global Services, will speak about The Evaluation of Training Efficacy in Aviation Maintenance.

Moderating the Maintenance stream is Claudio Marturano, CEO of the T-C-Alliance, a collaborative group of aviation training and consultancy organisations. 

Claudio brings over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, and 15 years of senior-level experience in business development and professional learning. As a seasoned leader and advisor, he is known for his results-oriented approach and commitment to fostering organisational improvements through innovative learning and development initiatives.

Claudio’s leadership at the T-C-Alliance, coupled with his deep industry expertise, makes him the ideal moderator for this new conference stream. He will guide the discussions and ensure that the content is both insightful and actionable for attendees looking to enhance safety protocols within their own organisations.
