A cabin crew training course will soon be added to the Aerospace Programme aterospace Programme offered at the Centre of Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) in Malaysia.

Sarawak's Minister for Transport, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, announced that this course, alongside ground handling training, aims to expand aviation-related fields in the region. He emphasized that cabin crew members must complete full training and certification to be eligible to work. This expansion aligns with the plan to develop the state-owned airline, AirBorneo, into a regional carrier, creating demand for pilots, cabin crew, and other airline personnel. Discussions are ongoing with CENTEXS to implement additional aviation courses in the future.
