Vueling has announced the development of an immersive virtual reality tool for crew training, in collaboration with NTT DATA. The technology, set for implementation in the first half of 2025, will allow pilots and cabin crew to train in a hyper-realistic virtual environment. It offers guided and evaluation modes tailored to each crew member's needs, specifically for Airbus A320 and A321 fleets. This VR tool will streamline training processes, reduce training time, and improve crew preparedness.

At Mobile World Congress 2025, Vueling will showcase the tool, offering attendees the chance to experience cabin crew training tasks firsthand. The partnership with Mobile World Capital emphasizes Vueling's commitment to innovation in aviation, as the airline continues to lead in AI, cybersecurity, and data solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
