Ukrainian medical trainers from the PULSE organization have endorsed the BlueRoom mixed reality simulator for training aeromedical evacuation medics. Tested in Europe for the first time, the system impressed the trainers with its realistic simulation, including the ability to monitor vital metrics such as heart rate and stress levels. The system integrates real medical tools like tourniquets and airway management devices, creating an immersive environment without sacrificing the feel of working with actual equipment.
The system also allows for simulations with various aeromedical platforms, including the UH-60 Black Hawk and C-17 Globemaster, eliminating the need for real aircraft in training. PULSE officials believe BlueRoom is an excellent supplement to traditional training methods, providing valuable new opportunities for Ukrainian military personnel. The system was also showcased at the 2024 Land Forces Expo in Melbourne.
