Mick Golson, ECS President, announced that Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) has been awarded a contract to provide global services and training to the Royal Armed Forces (RAF) of the Kingdom of Morocco in support of their National Defense and Security objectives.

The contract is in support of Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) Support, led by ECS Vice President of Global Services, Richard A. Madrid Jr., and runs through August 2025. ECS is partnering with Pilgrims Group USA, LLC (PGUSA) on this project.

JCATS is a staff training software program that trains commanders and their staff in an operationally relevant environment through the replication of combat formations and direct simulation of its command posts and other command and control nodes at the brigade level and below.

This program can be used as a stand-alone trainer or as part of a larger Live/Virtual/Constructive-Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) training event. As a result of its capabilities, JCATS has operated in a combined LVC environment for large military training events for all branches of military services.

As a leading JCATS provider, ECS will deliver contractor support personnel through its Global Services division for the consolidated work required for the RAF. Morocco requested procurement, delivery, and support of the JCATS for their Armed Forces.

This award represents work ECS continues to provide under the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Enterprise Training Services Contract (ETSC) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), through the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Orlando for the Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).

The seven-year, $2.4 billion ETSC contract provides for education, training, and knowledge-based services supports the U.S. Army and its Security Cooperation mission.

ECS President, Mick Golson, said: “ECS has been supporting U.S. soldiers for over 26 years by integrating innovative technology with unique global training solutions. We are honored that ECS was selected as global partners to support the Moroccan military service members, and we are excited about delivering our support on this project for PEO STRI.”

Madrid added: “It continues to be rewarding to share our global training and services in support of the U.S. Army and its Security Cooperation missions. This type of customized training provided by ECS, allows Warfighters to continue to strengthen their operational skills so they can successfully perform their missions throughout the world.”
