Despite its military use, the PLA emphasizes AI should assist decision-making without replacing human judgment, especially in combat. DeepSeek has gained global attention for its low-cost model and has surpassed ChatGPT on the App Store. The PLA is also testing the AI in training, healthcare, and anti-corruption efforts. Analysts see it as a potential game-changer for military intelligence and battlefield decision-making.
