Kratos Defense & Security Solution’s Kratos Aircrew Training Center (KATC) in Orlando is conducting Aerial Gunnery Training (AGT) for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Special Mission Aviators.

AFGSC aircrew members are led by Kratos instructors and training using the latest technologies and simulation systems. KATC delivers aerial training as well as training in crew coordination, rescue hoist and cargo sling operations.

“AFGSC recently approved our AGT Simulator to count towards some of the annual Continuation Training requirements,” explained Jose Diaz, Senior Vice President of Kratos Training Solutions. “This is further evidence that virtual reality is a viable training alternative to live training. High-fidelity simulation systems can cost millions of dollars to own and sustain. When budget or time constraints prevent acquisition of such systems, the Kratos Aircrew Training Center can provide aircrew members with training equivalent to what they would have received on their own simulator or aircraft while maximizing training budgets and increasing readiness."
