FAAC Incorporated, Arotech Corporation’s Training and Simulation Division, received $10.2-million in funding from the U.S. Army Contracting Command for its Army Virtual Clearance Training Suite (VCTS) follow-on program that is managed by the Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). The follow-on effort provides training for critical-vehicle operators in three phases, each of which provides capability upgrades to the 28 fielded VCTS systems to improve their realism by enhancing the clearance operations-training and reflecting the Army route clearance teams’ most current mission and equipment.

The funding will provide exercised options through January 2021 for Phase 2 of the three planned phases outlined in the original follow-on contract awarded in 2017.
