CTI-wins-241M-US-Air-Force-contract

Crew Training International (CTI) won a potential five-year, $241.4 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force train aircrew of MQ-9 multimission remotely piloted aircraft and associated courseware.

The Air Force’s Acquisition Management and Integration Center received eight offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive acquisition process, the Defense Department said.

CTI will create an instrument refresher course for MQ-9 operators assigned to Creech Air Force Base, Holloman AFB, March Air Reserve Base and Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, according to a FedBizOpps summary.

The service will obligate approximately $1 million in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

The company will perform contract work through September 2023.
