Over 30 Vermont National Guard Soldiers and Airmen will depart for Senegal to participate in a two-week medical readiness exercise through the State Partnership Program, according to DVIDS.

They will collaborate with colleagues from the New Hampshire National Guard, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force – Africa, and the Austrian Bundesheer, alongside Senegalese medical professionals. This exercise aims to enhance medical skills and share best practices, fostering international relationships. Vermont's adjutant general, Maj. Gen. Gregory Knight, will join for a state visit, emphasizing the exercise's impact on service members and the local population.
