Mass Virtual’s training platform, Virtual Hangar, has received the Best Training Application in the Industry award at the 16th annual Unity Awards. This recognition honors innovative uses of Unity technology that enhance immersive training experiences.

Virtual Hangar is currently deployed globally to support the Department of Defense (DoD), providing a flexible learning environment that enables teams to train at any time and location. The platform is powered by extended reality (XR) technologies through the MassXR platform, designed to adapt to varied training needs.

MassXR equips organizations with spatial learning tools to support training across diverse environments. Built to accommodate organizations at different levels of XR readiness, the platform features the Universal Learning Content Management System, which includes curriculum management, real-time session monitoring, and in-depth analytics. These capabilities allow users to manage, assess, and optimize training sessions effectively.

“This recognition from Unity reflects the efforts of the Mass Virtual team in advancing XR technology to meet customer training requirements,” said John Brooks, CEO of Mass Virtual. “Virtual Hangar is an example of our commitment to improving training environments and outcomes.”
