The Qantas Group will invest over AUD 40 million in various initiatives aimed at accelerating aviation skills development. In partnership with Griffith University and RMIT University, according to Aerotime.

Australia’s first safety academy will open in 2025, offering both online and on-campus safety education credentials. Additionally, new ground training facilities will be established in Sydney and Perth, providing emergency procedure training for pilots and cabin crew. The airline also plans to double scholarships for female students and Indigenous Australians to promote greater diversity in aviation.
