A virtual reality (VR) platform developed by Dr. Chris Macdonald at the University of Cambridge is helping users overcome speech anxiety. The platform offers tailored courses and realistic VR training environments, allowing individuals to practice public speaking in increasingly challenging settings. It is accessible via smartphones converted into VR headsets.

Clinical trials showed significant confidence boosts after just 30 minutes, with 100% of participants benefiting from reduced anxiety and improved adaptability. Over 50,000 remote users have tested the platform, and large-scale events further validated its effectiveness.
