Airways Formation has revealed its new identity during the French Flight Training Show "Salon des formations et métiers aéronautiques", which took place at the Air & Space Museum (Le Bourget, Paris) at the end of January. The school is now called AIRWAYS COLLEGE.
Since the arrival of new director, Sébastien Lefebvre, the training school, created in 1987, has continued to orient itself more and more towards an international position. "Our school benefits from extensive experience and has a well-earned reputation for the quality of its training. Our courses are open to all candidates, both French and international, and to airline companies worldwide wishing to train their pilots in a rigorous manner. This is why we decided to make our name more internationally accessible and emphasise this new dimension."
AIRWAYS COLLEGE not only took an English accent with its new name, but has also refreshed its image. Its logo has been revamped and the school visual identity has also changed, with one important image showing young people throwing paper airplanes into the sky. Reflecting the dream of many young people to one day become a pilot.
AIRWAYS COLLEGE also wants to demistify the path and accessibility to flight training schools and notes that, in its centres, training can be incorporated within a Baccalaureate degree.
The new slogan "Take off with us" also echoes the dynamic and new international spirit of AIRWAYS COLLEGE. The school's new brochure continues this theme with plenty of information to be found there on the great resources offered by the school throughout its three French centres (Agen, Nîmes and Cholet) and across its fleet of six simulators and 14 aircraft (including four twin-engined).
