BAA Training has signed a cooperation contract with International Flight Training Center (IFTC). The agreement covers the lease of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG FFS's for BAA Training students' training in Turkey.
The one-year long contract wil allow BAA Training's pilot trainees from the surrounding regions to receive professional A320 and B737NG training in accordance to EASA standards.
For nearly a decade and with five full flight simulators located in Istanbul (2 x A320 and 2 x B737NG) and Antalya (1 x B737NG), IFTC provides a modern facility ideal for training, and includes classrooms, computer based training rooms, flat panel training devices, CEET, and FFT.
"For a couple of years now we have a strategic goal of strengthening our position in the region as well as bringing more and more of our European standard pilot training opportunities to locations around the world. This partnership is yet another step towards that goal as well as towards tackling the thriving pilot demand," said Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of BAA Training.
