L3 Commercial Training Solutions (L3 CTS) has opened a new European Airline Academy at Ponte de Sor Airport in Portugal in an expansion of its cadet pilot training offering.
The new academy, which has the capacity to provide training for up to 500 cadets a year, has been established following L3’s acquisition of the G Air Training Centre in October 2017.
L3 CTS’ Portuguese operations will be fully integrated with its current Airline Academy operations in the UK, US and New Zealand.
The company also recently announced a cadet pilot training programme for Jetstar Asia Airways.
