Alsim delivered its AL250 simulator to Colombian flight school Escuela de Aviacion Flying. The school will install the simulator in early September.

The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs for commercial pilot license (CPL) and private pilot license (PPL) courses with instrument rating on multi-engine aircraft (IR/ME) and offers classic or glass cockpits for each flight model. It is re-configurable for Single-engine Piston (SEP) and Multi-engine Piston (MEP) aircraft, analogue or electronic instruments (EFIS) and last generation software to meet the requirements for private, commercial and instrument pilots.

Escuela de Aviacion Flying says it chose Alsim’s AL250 for its ability to simulate Performance Based Navigation/Lateral Navigation (PBN/LNAV), Lateral Navigation/Vertical Navigation (LNAV/VNAV) and Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) operations.
