L3Harris Airline Academy is consolidating its Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) offering for future pilots. The new course will include features designed to give a level of reassurance during cadet training and on graduation. This includes the ‘Pilot Ready Promise’ where on successful completion of the ATPL programme, and for two years post-graduation or until they find airline employment, cadets will qualify for free revalidations of their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME IR).

When cadets apply to the Integrated ATPL programme, they can also opt-in to the Airline Standards Assurance Pathway (ASAP) for access to additional training beyond the course syllabus should they require it, as well as access to L3Harris’ renewed Graduate Placement Pool. The Placement Pool offers airline ready preparation days, regular interview skills webinars, and more.

Dave Coward, VP & General Manager Airline Academy said: “We expect the airline industry to recover in the next couple of years with commercial flights returning to pre-pandemic levels by 2023/2024. This move to consolidate our integrated ATPL offerings will make it easier for new cadets to choose a path to a rewarding career as a commercial airline pilot.”
