CAE will open its first West Coast training facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the summer of 2022 to meet the increased demand for pilots in the region.

Work is already underway on the facility, which will house eight full-flight simulators and allow the company to strengthen its "reach and capabilities in the business aviation flight-training market."

“This new training center is an important addition to our global network of centers and underscores our commitment to helping the business aviation industry build and grow a strong pipeline of pilots,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President Civil Aviation Training Solutions.

“We look forward to playing a key supportive role in Nevada’s aerospace and defense industry for many years to come. The State of Nevada and City of Las Vegas have been incredibly welcoming to CAE. We are excited to be a part of this vibrant community and we look forward to contributing to its impressive economic development.”

CAE is a global leader in the delivery of training for the civil aviation, defense and security, and healthcare markets. The company is also a diamond sponsor at the 2021 European Airline Training Symposium (EATS).  Be sure to register for the Nov. 2-3 event live in Berlin, Germany, and come and hear more about what CAE has planned.
