The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) has announced its 2025 Board of Trustees, featuring esteemed leaders from across the aviation industry. The new leadership team will guide the NAHF’s mission to celebrate aviation’s legacy and inspire future innovation.
Effective 1 January 2025, the leadership team includes Chair Douglas Schwartz, an aviation management and flight operations leader, Vice Chair Major General John Barry, USAF (Ret.), a seasoned aviation expert, and Secretary Lillian Dukes, a global aerospace operations leader.
“As Chair, I am honored to lead this exceptional team of Trustees as we continue to advance the Hall’s mission,” said Douglas Schwartz. “Aviation’s past and future are filled with stories that deserve to be celebrated, and I look forward to inspiring the next generation of aviation leaders and innovators.”
Outgoing Board Chair Jim Cooling reflected on his tenure, expressing pride in the Hall’s accomplishments and confidence in the new leadership.
The NAHF also welcomed Kerry Lynch, Editor at Aviation International News Monthly Magazine, as a new Trustee. Lynch’s extensive experience and advocacy for business aviation will contribute significantly to the Hall’s mission.
The National Aviation Hall of Fame is committed to inspiring future generations through its Heritage Hall & Education Center in Dayton, Ohio.
