In response to growing customer demand and the evolving needs of the aviation industry, AeronautX is taking a significant step forward by restructuring its training portfolio into two specialized Approved Training Organizations (ATOs). This strategic move ensures more focused and high-quality training experience for both aspiring and experienced pilots.
AeronautX will now operate under two distinct ATOs:
ATO.AT.101 – Dedicated to type-related courses, offering advanced training for experienced pilots looking to specialize or upgrade their skills.
ATO.AT.102 – Focused on basic pilot training, guiding future aviators from zero to ATPL through a structured and comprehensive training pathway.
“With this enhancement, we are sharpening our focus on both ends of the pilot training spectrum. By creating two distinct ATOs, we can deliver tailored training solutions that better serve the needs of pilots at every stage of their career,” said Jörg Oberhofer, Managing Director of AeronautX.
The partnership between AeronautX and Axis Flight Simulation further strengthens this initiative, leveraging simulation technology to ensure training standards. Christian Theuermann, member of the board of Axis Flight Simulation, emphasized the importance of this collaboration: “Providing pilots with the best possible training environment, both in foundational and type-specific courses, is key to maintaining the highest safety and proficiency standards in aviation.”
