Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced plans to improve its cabin crew employment offerings on February 11, 2025.
The airline operates 147 aircraft to 76 destinations globally, with a team of over 7,000 crew members.
SIA revealed cabin crew salaries ranging from SG$2,000 to SG$5,000 per month (US$1,500 to US$3,700), with long-haul crew earning up to SG$75,000 annually (US$55,600). Salaries are based on experience, seniority, and flying hours.
Crew members undergo a four-month training program focused on customer service and safety protocols. They also receive medical insurance with global coverage and are encouraged to pursue additional training.
The hiring process includes submitting an online application, interviews, background checks, and completing training.
SIA hires crew from various nationalities, primarily based in Singapore, and assigns them to short-haul or long-haul routes. The airline strives to attract top talent in the aviation sector by offering competitive salaries, comprehensive training, and other benefits.
