UFA, a provider of air traffic simulation and voice technologies, delivered its ATTower™ Tower Simulator to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF). The simulator includes pseudo pilot and instructor positions; an HC/LCD-based visual system with tower, ground and approach controller positions with weather and lighting panels, a simulated voice communications system and surveillance displays.
UFA delivered two site-specific airport databases and a training database with ATEditor™ airport management tools that allow the RJAF to conduct its air traffic controller training in-house. The system was acquired by the RJAF through the U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales program.
