The National Modeling and Simulation Coalition (NM&SC), sponsored by the National Transport and Safety Association (NTSA), will hold its 2018 National Meeting September 25-26 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Interprofessional Experiential Center for Enduring Learning (iEXCEL) in Omaha, Nebraska.

This meeting brings together defense and healthcare training and simulation experts at a time when healthcare has never been more important. Whilst it provides combat and ongoing medical care to the war fighter it also puts the domestic economy under ever more pressure by what most would accept is  a seriously outdated, if not broken, civilian healthcare system.

The meeting will focus on Improving Human Performance and Effectiveness and will feature presentations from a host of key players in medical and military simulation including Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, Chancellor, UNO & UNMC; Daniel Serfaty, President and CEO, Aptima; Robert Amyot, President, CAE Healthcare;  Winston Bennett, Division Technical Advisor, U.S. Air Force Warfighter Readiness Research Division, Wright-Patterson AFB; Mats Johansson, President, EON Reality iEXCEL; Marisa Fish, Deputy Division Chief, Architecture Engineering Division, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Strategic Research Institute; and Walter Greenleaf, Medical AR/VR Expert, Stanford University Virtual Human Interaction Lab.
