RAAF-P8A-training-system-e1534518587737

The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base's new training facility in Edinburgh got a P-8A Poseidon simulator and training system to better prepare Australian Defence Force pilots and maintenance crews.

The facility, which will be maintained and supported by Boeing Defence Australia, and the P-8A training equipment will deliver close to 40 courses that will help minimize training demands on the P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The facility, that is currently under construction, is part of the government’s $5.2 billion investment in its new P-8A Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft.
