ST Engineering Antycip, in collaboration with its sister company MAK Technologies (MAK), will showcase its simulation technology on stand G7 at IT²EC 2024.
At IT²EC, held from 9-11 April at ExCeL London, attendees will have the opportunity to view the MAK ONE suite of simulation applications in action, as well as experience MyIG, ST Engineering Antycip’s image generation (IG) solution, newly updated and offering high levels of realism.
Visitors to the ST Engineering Antycip stand can discover a land-focused simulation demonstration based on MAK ONE, where the partners will unveil a scenario designed for Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) requirements. With thousands of entities to support Lower Controllers (LOCONS), Higher Controllers (HICONS), Opposing Forces (OPFOR), and Grey cell, events and injects, this simulation can stimulate Battle Management Systems for seamless training of headquarters personnel. MAK ONE’s synthetic environment utilises customisable behaviour trees to reduce the burden on supporting staff and can be linked to the Hive Analytics engine to provide Exercise Control and Observer/Mentors with additional tools and information for effective debriefing. The MAK ONE synthetic environment is interoperable with platform-hosted systems, custom high-fidelity communication, platform model sets, and exercise management tools.
ST Engineering Antycip and MAK will also demonstrate multi-domain scenarios with enhanced Air and Maritime capabilities that range from sub-surface to orbiting satellites, and from first person virtual to large scale constructive simulation.
MyIG, a CIGI (Common Image Generator Interface)-compliant, general-purpose synchronised multi-channel image generator, was developed fully in-house by ST Engineering Antycip. Written entirely in Standard C++ and OpenGL, the software offers high-fidelity effects, real world lighting and high performance by maintaining refresh rates up to 120Hz and is oriented to support extreme real-time and robust applications to fulfil the high-level capabilities demanded by the requirements of Full Flight Mission Simulators.
Exhibiting next to the ST Engineering Antycip booth is partner Cervus. Together, ST Engineering Antycip, MAK Technologies, and Cervus will showcase joint analytics demos using MAK ONE that will allow attendees to witness the synergies between the companies’ solutions and experience firsthand how they are using analytics in defence training and simulation.
