The Serious Play Conference has officially opened its call for speakers for the 2025 event, scheduled to take place from 13-15 August at the scenic St. John Fisher Campus in Rochester, New York. Known for its focus on the transformative power of play and games, the conference invites innovators, thought leaders, and practitioners to share their insights and case studies.
Submissions are welcome from diverse fields, including education, healthcare, corporate training, and entertainment. Topics may range from card games for young learners to virtual reality simulations, augmented reality museum exhibits, and e-sports initiatives. Presenters are encouraged to share their experiences, including challenges, triumphs, and lessons learned, in designing and implementing gameful strategies.
Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis by expert panels, with a final deadline of 14 April 2025. Accepted speakers will be notified by 19 May 2025.
