Simformotion LLC has launched a new Cat Simulators VR Paving system, designed to train paving machine operators in a virtual highway construction site environment. The system includes training on operating the Paver and Roller, inspecting machines, paving highways, and compacting asphalt.
The VR-based system provides a safe and cost-effective alternative to traditional training, allowing users to train without interrupting production. The system is portable, enabling training at various locations. It includes a machine inspection module, SimU Campus software for performance tracking, and SimScholars curriculum for blended learning.
This new system addresses challenges like high turnover and the need for hands-on training in the paving industry, offering a solution for new and inexperienced operators to learn essential skills. The system also supports flexible learning formats, including remote training.
