MILO Range Training Systems, part of Arotech Corporation’s Training and Simulation Division, received $2.5-million in new U.S. Air Force (USAF) awards. MILO will provide its training systems including the MILO Range Theater 300, MILO Range Theater 180 and MILO Range Advanced to train U.S. Air Force (USAF) security forces. It will also provide extended product support through 2024 for the training equipment that is scheduled for delivery in early 2019. These awards, combined with the U.S. Pacific Air Forces order, total over $4-million in recent USAF awards for MILO Range Training Systems.

The systems will be used to train personnel at USAF Global Strike Command (AFGSC) locations, USAF security forces and law enforcement at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in Bexar County, Texas and in other individual security units around the world.

The AFGSC is responsible for the nation's three intercontinental ballistic missile wings; the Air Force’s entire bomber force including B-52, B-1 and B-2 wings; the Long Range Strike Bomber program; the Air Force Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems; and operational and maintenance support to organizations within the nuclear enterprise. The AFGSC's mission is to provide strategic deterrence, global strike and combat support.

“The systems and their on-board training content were scientifically designed to increase tactical proficiency, reconstitute the defender, and greatly assist readiness in the mission to protect the personnel and equipment of the USAF,” says MILO Range General Manager, Robert McCue.

Additional MILO Range Systems were ordered for training squadrons at Lackland AFB in Bexar County, Texas and for USAF security personnel at Edwards AFB in Kern County, California; Dover AFB in Delaware; Hurlburt Field in Okaloosa County, Florida and U.K. Royal Air Force bases Mildenhall in Suffolk and Croughton in Northamptonshire, England.
