Propair Flight has developed a modern ZLIN 242L simulator for the University of Public Service. This simulator is designed to support the ground-based training of future Hungarian military pilots. Its primary goal is to help trainee pilots thoroughly understand the operation of the Zlin 242L trainer aircraft before real flight, offering a safe, realistic, and cost-effective set-up for learning the principles of aviation and navigation.
Pilots can enjoy a more realistic flight experience thanks to the simulator's technology. It makes use of custom image generator to deliver real-time visuals of Hungarian airports, guaranteeing realistic and immersive experience. This advanced technology accurately simulates not just aircraft operation but also a variety of flight-related elements, such as varying weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Balázs Bojkó, Propair Flight’s Chief Technology Officer, said: "We are confident that Propair Flight’s ZLIN 242L simulator will be a crucial tool for the Hungarian Air Force, enhancing both ground and simulator-based pilot training. The simulator allows students to practice necessary manoeuvres and receive continuous feedback on their progress. Personalized training is made possible by integrated flight analysis systems, which monitor individual growth and assist in strengthening areas of weakness and establishing safe flying practices."
Because the simulator realistically replicates the Zlin 242L aircraft's cockpit and operations, students may confidently and precisely make the transition from simulator practice to real flight. This development significantly enhances flight safety and cost-effective pilot training.
Colonel Dr. Mátyás Palik, deputy dean for Military Aviation at the University of Public Service, emphasized: "This simulator is more than simply a tool; it is essential for boosting pilots' self-assurance and readiness. The Hungarian Air Force's pilot training system seamlessly incorporates Propair Flight's recently released ZLIN 242L simulator. Pilots can use this program to gradually learn critical skills, making sure that every competency is fully reinforced.”
