Research in the British Medical Journal shows over 50% of palliative care patients experience pain and depression relief with VR therapy, notably after just 20 minutes, according to XR Today.

The study, funded by multiple organizations, used Meta Quest 2 headsets and the Wander app, with positive feedback from patients. Co-authors Tobias Loetscher and Gregory Crawford emphasize the immediate and significant relief reported by participants.
