A new virtual reality (VR) education initiative has launched in Saint Lucia, offering innovative learning opportunities for students, job seekers, and professionals.  Led by Promising People, the program uses immersive technology to enhance accessibility and engagement.

At the launch event, Crystal Clark, director of education and literacy, emphasized its benefits, particularly for individuals struggling with literacy or preparing for certifications.  Promising People’s VR courses cover construction, technology, healthcare, and more, incorporating gamified learning for better retention. Clark highlighted the nursing assistant program as a valuable entry into healthcare.

With a 95% success rate in diploma programs, the initiative aims to transform education and workforce development in Saint Lucia, including partnerships with schools and correctional facilities.
