MAB Academy, part of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), has been accredited by the IATA Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) Center to offer Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certification courses.
“This recognition not only enhances our credibility as a trusted training provider but also enables us to equip industry professionals with the highest standards of competency in handling dangerous goods,” said Aida Salfaraz Ahmad Fadzil, Chief Operating Officer of MAB Academy.
MAB Academy is integrating XR into its DGR courses, providing immersive learning to reinforce key concepts and drive innovation in aviation training.
“By adopting a competency-based training approach, Malaysia Airlines is enhancing operational safety, and improving workforce competence, performance, and continuous learning,” said Dr. Xie Xingquan, IATA’s Regional Vice President for North Asia and Asia Pacific.
MAB Academy will be listed in the IATA CBTA Center Certified Companies Registry and included in the IATA DGR Manual, 67th Edition (2026).
