Virtual Training Cuts Reportable Incidents by 37%

Qube has achieved a 37% reduction in reportable incidents for FY24, just 18 months after implementing a new virtual roll-on roll-off (RORO) training initiative with MOTUM Simulation. 

The company operates RORO facilities across Australia and Southeast Asia, requiring high precision in unloading vehicles parked as close as 100mm apart. The training uses MOTUM’s True Motion Simulation hardware and MOTUM World software to simulate driving tasks in both vessel and facility environments. This ensures operators are fully skilled before handling real vehicles, resulting in fewer incidents and a clear return on investment for Qube.
